Top Places To Visit In Leh Ladakh

Zanskar Valley

Zanskar Valley is one of the most desolate places in the Himalayan Range. The snow covered steep terrains reflect the heavenly blue skies. The tributaries of the Zanskar River is one of the most famous places for an adventurous activity that is  river rafting in India. Kargil

Nubra Valley

Hall Of Fame

 A museum dedicated to the soldiers of the Indo-Pakistan war who sacrificed their lives for the country. The photo frames depicting the soldiers who have put on their brave act that are hanging on the walls shows the story of their bravery. Apart from that, there are arms and ammunition displayed in the glass boxes as used by the soldiers. Sangam

Sangam  is located 35 km away from Leh in a place called Nimmu, on the Leh- Srinagar highway. At this point, we can see the meeting of the two rivers. It is a spectacular view to witness the shiny blue Indus River and the muddy green Zanskar River.

The flow of the two rivers at Sangam changes seasonally. While the Zanskar River is swollen and forms rapids in summer, the Indus River is much calmer comparatively. In winters, the Zanskar River slows down and almost freezes while the flow of the Indus River is even lesser. One of the longest rivers in Asia is Indus that  originates in Tibet. The Zanskar River is formed in the Zanskar Valley region. It offers a lot of stunning views worthy of photography.
